Head ranked ninth in Pennsylvania
Eisenhower’s Louie Head is ranked 9th in Off The Mat’s initial state rankings in Class AA at 170 pounds. The full rankings for Head’s weight class follow.

Freshman hoops
Warren’s ninth grade team defeated Oil City on Thursday, 60-41. Griffin Suppa led the way with 15 points, Jake Kupchella scored 14, Caleb Ei scored 12, Devin McMeans scored eight, Matt Bryant scored six and Aidan Morrison scored five. The Dragons are now 9-1 on the year, and will play at home Tuesday against Jamestown, N.Y.

Ike 7th grade hoops
The Eisenhower seventh grade boys basketball opened their season Monday with 44-26 loss to Kane. The Knights fought hard against a much taller opponent, as Zach Rohlin led the way with eight points and Zane Alexander had six. Riley Cataldo chipped in with four points, while Owen Trumbull, Luke Smelko, Caleb Robinault and Matthew Cathcart had 2 points each.
Ike mat club meeting
There will be an Eisenhower Mat Club meeting on Thursday at 6 p.m. in the library at EHS.
Penn York Winter Trap League
The Penn York Winter Trap League met at the Kane Fish and Game Club on Sunday and the top three teams were separated by only 3 points. Brokenstraw in first place, followed by Sugar Grove and then Kalbfus. There were 129 shooters in attendance.
Chris Kibbey(46) was the high junior male, Mikkayla Durlin(36) was the high junior female, Shelby Proctor(17) was the high sub junior female and Logan Muir and Jonah Frank(42) tied for high sub junior male. Cindy Cable(49) was the high lady, Denny LaBarte(47) the high vet, Ed Sleeman(47) the high senior vet and Dick Starks(47) was the high super senior vet.
The top ten shooters are: CJ Jones 96.60, Dennis Spoon 96.57, Michael McDunn 96.50, Colton Black 96.22, Dale Johnson 95.60, Reed Johnson 95.56, Curt Hollabaugh 95.33, Elijah Trawick 95.25, Roger Retzinger 94.33 and Scott Currie 94.22
Next week’s competition will be at the Busti Trap Club. You can join them for open shooting on Thursday evening from 4-7 p.m.
