Jr. high hoops

This year’s junior high girls basketball season at Eisenhower will begin three weeks later than normal in an effort to match schedules with a larger number of schools. The first practice for girls in the seventh and eighth grades will be at 4 p.m., August 31 at Eisenhower High School.

Youth football

Practices for the Warren County Football League begin today from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Betts Park. An early sign-up will be held at 5 p.m. Players are asked to wear a white t-shirt with their last name printed on both the front and back. For information, contact Mike English at 757-9276.
