5K Run/Walk

The 13th Annual Nyla Luvison 5K Run/Walk is scheduled forSaturday, July 11th at 9:30 a.m. The starting point for the race will be the Sugar Grove Fire Hall on School Street. Runners are asked to note this year’s start time is 9:30 a.m. The Cost is $15.00 if pre-registered by June 19 or $20.00 anytime after. Registration will be held from 8:00 a.m. 9:15 a.m. at the Sugar Grove Fire Hall. The age divisions for the race will be 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-65, and 66+. T-Shirts are guaranteed to first 150 entrants. Awards will be given for the first male and female overall as well as the top 3 male and female finishers in each age group. A Children’s Fun Run will be held at the conclusion of the 5K and is free with all participants getting something for their efforts. The proceeds from the event are equally divided between the Cancer Care Center at the Warren General Hospital and the Eisenhower High School Cross Country Teams. A BBQ Chicken Dinner will be available at the Fire Hall on race day. A race entry form can be found at the www.sugargrovepa.com webpage.
