More bad acting in Trump criticisms
Actor Harrison Ford names President Trump the “worst criminal in history” in articles found in a Google search. Ford condemns Trump’s energy policies in particular and his character in general.
Trump’s energy policies rightfully increase our energy independence which must not be risked in these dangerous times. It’s especially critical after the risky policies of Joe Biden and Barack Obama.
As for the ‘criminal’ characterization, has Ford ever heard of Hitler? Mao Zedong? Osama Bin Laden? Ayatollah Khomeini? Hamas? Putin?
Morally, Biden is responsible for crimes committed due to his open borders. Of course, Ford backed Kamala Harris; as a border czar, she was as useless as a skis in the Amazon. More Hollywood nonsense.
For economic nonsense, we turn to Bernie Sanders who keeps shouting that high earners and the rich must pay “their fare share.” But they already are!
There are seven income tax brackets. Those in the lowest pay 10% due to the Earned Income Tax credit, they usually get at least most of it refunded. Rates are higher in each succeeding bracket ending with 37% at the top. Capital Gains brackets are also progressive whether the gains are short or long term.
It’s worth noting that Bernie’s net worth, according to Wikipedia, is $3 million. He and his wife own three homes. When he and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) travel to spout their economic nonsense, they generally fly private jets. Can you say “hypocrisy?” Then they appear with Mayor Zohran Mamdani of New York City. Barack Obama, predictably, called Mamdani “the way forward for Dems’ on Steven Colbert’s pitiful show.
The pope has called the conflict with Iran an “unnecessary war.” Was he aware that Iran had developed missiles capable of reaching well into Europe, including Vatican City? The high walls and the Swiss Guard would not protect the Vatican from missiles or any developed
nuclear bombs. The Pope should thank Trump for diminishing threats from the sadistic theocracy that has run Iran since 1979.
The “Immigration Law & Justice Network” actively oppose ICE as ICE works to remove the worst migrant criminals from our streets. Amazingly, the network condemned the Lakein Riley Act; this act was named after a young woman murdered by an illegal migrant. Immigration Law & Justice Network, it seems is so enamored of migrant felons that they disrespect American citizens. It was originated by a Christian denomination with a website that condemned the border wall and applauded Joe Biden’s “welcoming” border. This is no reflection on the congregations themselves; the members I know well want border security.
But sadistic thugs, international or otherwise, are only encouraged by tolerance.
