It seems that there are many so-called leaders in this country who want the democracy we have upheld for nearly 250 years dismantled; The Socialist-Dems are pushing to defund I.C.E., and again the American citizen is held hostage. They have no leaders, only ringleaders who call the shots against what is best for the majority of the country.

It’s tough to straighten something out (border) that has been grossly mishandled and then left for someone else to fix. I.C.E. is doing the cleanup that should never have been necessary in the first place, except for Biden’s missteps. Dems are vilifying law enforcement; it’s inconceivable how a party could get so unhinged, that they create civil unrest and openly violate laws throughout this country.

When will the leftist party acknowledge that the immigrants being taken are here because their “beloved” Joe Biden did the bidding of radicals and allowed this country to be overrun by millions of illegals?

Many of them are hostile, murderous, felons that ravage this nation, but yet have found sympathizers on the left. A young woman was recently killed in Chicago by an illegal immigrant with prior arrests on the books. A Democratic Alderman had the gall to insinuate she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. The alderman would have had more credibility offering condolences to the family or keeping quiet rather than uttering such nonsensical words.

The Dems continue to exploit the American process of voting by insisting that illegals be allowed, though only citizens actually have the right. There is nothing racist or misogynous about insisting that voters show ID. It’s an insult to minorities and women if Dems think these groups are incapable of securing valid identification in this society.

There are places where picture IDs are necessary: securing rentals, cashing checks, major purchases, etc. Voting should be included at the top of the list to ensure non-fraudulent election results. As a side note: In February New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, a Democratic Socialist, required ID to shovel snow because the city is required by federal law to collect work authorization and proper documentation in order to pay employees. It’s strange that shoveling can be more important than voting!

The left has to start controlling their thoughts, words, and actions. Using gross and hateful speech such as Hitler and Fascist, turns off many listeners and encourages actions of less than stellar consequences.

I applaud the tenacity of those who hold signs each week at the court house, even though in my opinion they are misguided in their thinking. It is rather difficult to read the signs as one drives on Market Street or Fourth Avenue, but several weeks ago a sign holder on Market Street across from the courthouse had an easily visible sign because it was in large print and stood out.

However, the words weren’t worth reading; they were vulgar and insulting and detracted from the real message. Maybe that’s why that person and his sign were relegated to the opposite side of Market Street, away from the others who had something worthwhile to share. That sign may be gone, but I’ll never know because I no longer travel in that area on Saturdays.

At any rate, some Socialist-Dems in this country choose ugly vocabulary because they can’t think of anything else to get anyone’s attention; they have nothing beneficial to contribute but want to be noticed.

When I hear that vulgarity from a speaker on the airwaves or read it in print, that person has offended me and lost me as a listener, or reader to what they want me to know. I’m fairly certain that I am not the only one who is affected by these kinds of words, whether spoken or written.

This country would look a lot more civilized, if our so-called leaders would try to use common sense, be reasonable, speak thoughtfully, and follow the laws. Maybe the rest of the country would follow that lead instead of hearing and believing the continuous lies that are spewed from the left and the media.
