Community involvement can boost Warren
As a member of Warren Redevelopment Authority, Warren Blighted Property Committee and the Comprehensive Plan task force, I see opportunities everywhere and every day in Warren.
Here are my thoughts.
Warren, look in the mirror. What do you see? Do you see the historic buildings downtown, the parks that are slowly getting better, and the potential this town has?
Or do you see the spaces that still need care and attention? Liberty Street and Pennsylvania Avenue are full of opportunity, but the truth is, real change does not come from a grant, a plan, or a consultant. It comes from us showing up and taking responsibility for the place we call home.
It is not fancy work. It is picking up trash, repairing the sidewalks that have been cracked for years, and maintaining public spaces so they are welcoming.
Doing this week after week does not just make the town look better. It builds pride, shows we care, and proves that Warren can look and feel the way we want it to.
When we take care of it, good things follow. Families spend more time downtown, young people start thinking about staying, and private investment begins to flow naturally.
Warren does not need another plan. It needs people who show up, care, and prove this town is worth it. Start small. Start today. Show up for Warren and watch what it sees in the mirror change.
