For many years this country has been going down a slippery slope. In the last two-plus years things have accelerated to a nearly unsustainable rate, and it may already be too late to make enough corrections to right the ship.

Inflation is at or near an all-time high partly due to major cost of energy that is driving up the cost everything. Crime is running rampant, and the justice system is full of creed and corruption, all while transforming into a political, two-tiered legal system. Our borders are wide open allowing a huge influx of millions of illegal aliens, who are also bringing various deceases and health issues. The open borders have increased the flow of illegal drugs leading to rapid rise in drug related deaths and a massive increase in human trafficking.

Over 60 years ago the religious and moral values this nation was founded upon came under attack such as we had never seen. This original assault brought about major changes in our value systems that continue to disintegrate to this day.

The Christian Church has not been immune either, but a victim of continued assaults on the Biblical teachings that are the very foundation of the church and this nation. But, the Apostle Paul said, “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.”

One can see the “falling away” as numbers of churches are glorifying sin (iniquity) and saying it is an expression of love, but God’s Word calls it an abomination. If they were truly expressing an act of love, they might follow what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 13:6 “Love rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth.”

Our country is being destroyed as we blindly look on. Christians need to wake up, this nations problems not only lay in the Capital Building and White House, but in the Church House as well. Words the Lord spoke to the prophet Hosea are written in chapter four and verse six say, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”

And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” But, if you suddenly find yourself in a “Lake of Fire” you will know, but it will be too late.

So, WAKE UP.
