Praise Fellowship launches The Story Series, service time

Beginning Sunday, Sept. 9, Praise Fellowship will kick off The Story series, a walk through the Bible. The Story is an abridged Bible, made easier to read and arranged chronologically to help people better understand and engage with God’s Word.

“Most people don’t know the Bible. In fact, most people don’t even read the Bible,” said Rick Rohlin, Lead Pastor. “Most Americans, when surveyed recently, said they wish they read the Bible more and wish they understood the Bible–ironically, even including skeptics of the Bible and unbelievers.”

Praise Fellowship’s comprehensive coverage of The Story will comprise their weekly worship services at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Sundays, their student ministry on Monday evenings, PF Chapel teaching with lunch on Wednesday mornings, as well as a new Thursday evening full worship service at 6:35 p.m.

“If you work or have other obligations on Sunday mornings, there aren’t many other options for you to attend a regular worship service during the week in our region,” said Rohlin. Praise Fellowship’s new Thursday evening service offers to meet that need.

“We’re calling it our ‘Manna Meeting’ and starting it at 6:35 p.m., based on John 6:35, where Jesus is the Bread of Life,” said Rohlin.

There will also be weekly video teachings posted online to delve even further into Scripture and the topics covered that week.

EPIC Student Life, Praise Fellowship’s student ministry, will also focus on The Story. EPIC meets at Praise Fellowship for a time of worship, games, and teaching every Monday at 6:30 p.m. They will be kicking off their fall session on September 10. All students in grades 7 through 12 are invited to attend.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, Praise Fellowship exists to provide a time and place to worship God. All are welcome and invited to join in weekly worship and teaching services.
