Something is unfair
Dear Editor,
Fair week. Always fun. And always well done. Those people work hard.
Was attendance down? Friday night was busy. Saturday was not bad.
Not sure, but I can't remember getting my hot sausage sandwich without having to wait in line, but this week I never did. And I ate four of them. And I only waited in line once for an ice cream cone -- and I ate four of them too.
I visited several booths. Sales were down.
One business exhibiting at the fair said that they had $287,000 in business last year. This year they are on pace to do only $40,000.
Another had sales so slow they questioned if they should even continue at the Fair. This year was a big loss -- despite the same hard work.
Why? Maybe the economy?
"The economy is terrible," several said.
Really? Is the economy terrible?
Maybe for you, but not for everyone.
I sat at a dinner table a few weeks ago with an interesting conversation. Every person there had made $100,000 -- that's not a typo -- $100,000 IN ONE WEEK without lifting a finger.
You see the tariff refunds came due. And they were paid out. To the corporations that divvyed them up and distributed them. Not to the consumer (you) who paid the tariffs through higher costs. No, the refunds were paid to the shareholders. The millionaires. The billionaires. All who made a fortune taking your money.
And there is more. This unnecessary war in Iran is a hoax. Iran had no nukes any more than Iraq did. But Benjamin Netanyahu's Zionists convinced the President otherwise.
So here we are, paying for Israel's War for expansion to Greater Israel with your tax dollars, and money the U.S. doesn't have. So the government prints more money, which causes inflation, which causes prices to rise. You pay. More.
That's not anti-semitism. That is anti-zionism. There is a big difference.
The sound you hear is the American worker being played like a fiddle.
The honest truth is the lousy -- for you - economy that you suffer with is exactly what you voted for. It is no secret. It is exactly what their platform said.

Some real data
Dear Editor,
After partially reading a letter about data centers the other day I had to stop reading it simply because it was so ridiculous and untrue. In actuality, I was literally upset and angry about all the outrageous claims the writer stated.
Here is some serious truthful food for thought for your consideration pertaining to Data Centers. Data centers are drawing widespread criticism and major push back because of their rapid expansion, especially for AI.
Data centers strain local resources by consuming massive amounts or electricity and here are 10 points to seriously consider:
-- Data centers raise energy demand and your electric bills.
-- Data centers are propping up gas, coal and nuclear power sources.
-- Data centers are endangering our water supply and the letter writer went to suggest pumping all the necessary water from our beautiful, precious Allegheny River. At the rate a Data center would be using that river water, it would run dry sooner than later. I hope the Army Corpx of Engineers and the powers that be will step up and say an emphatic no to that ridiculous proposal.
-- Data centers are creating more and more air pollution and the suggested sights would all most likely be sucking the Allegheny River dry and spewing pollution and fall out into the local neighborhoods, woods, streams and river.
-- Data centers are draining public funds.
-- Data centers are threatening our jobs.
-- Data centers are a blight on communities.
-- The data center boom is imperiling the entire community.
-- Data centers create toxic trash dumped on other countries
-- AI devours your sensitive, personal data.
Communities and people around the country are standing up and speaking out against any and all data centers being built in their back yards and and using up all their electricity and sucking their water table dry. Petitions are being circulated and signed by tens of thousands of concerned citizens all saying no to data centers being built anywhere simply because they are so bad and so dangerous.
So in case you were wondering now you know and don’t take my word for it,Google it and see for yourself. This is too important to ignore.
