Dear Editor,

It’s unfortunate that our Democratic country has a “Mafia”-like boss in Washington, D.C., along with a bunch who have fallen in line with the boss.

Either they complied or faced a “hit “man. Their recent vote to confirm that Big Beautiful Bill is sufficient proof that their allegiance to the boss supplants their support to our nation and their constituents.

The Boss has blackmailed certain university presidents, law firms and elected officials into submission. At the same time his wealthy supporters will benefit at the expense of you and I — hard working Americans.

Many of our cherished social and medical programs will be eliminated or reduced. The “Mafia” is well established and thriving in our nation’s Capitol. Let’s eliminate this scourge to our country, not with hit men, but with our collective vote.

Trump’s not alone

Dear Editor,

President Donald Trump did it again. He is the only one to blame or at least that’s what the media and the democrats want you to believe. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Did President Trump bomb Iran? Yes. Did he seek or obtain Congressional approval? No. Are the Democrats entertaining impeachment? Yes. Is he the only president to authorize military force without congressional approval? No.

Here is a little history lesson to again prove that “because it is Trump it must be wrong” clause!

President James Polk used troops to engage in a war with Mexico. Abraham Lincoln used military force in the civil war. Harry Truman used military force in Korea. Presidents John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, and Richard Nixon all engaged in military force in Vietnam. George H W Bush invaded Panama. Bill Clinton bombed Bosnia and Kosovo. Barack Obama bombed Libya.

Then, of course, the most horrific, the most unconstitutional, the most impeachable crime of American history President Trump orders the destruction of the devils very soon to be nuclear arsenal and made the entire world a much safer place! However, all the above actions by all the above Presidents were done without or before congressional approval! But because it was Trump it must be wrong?

I saved for what I believe to be the best for last to prove my point, April 15, 1986. Operation El Dorado Canyon kicks off, it is the bombing of Libya by the United States Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps by order of President Ronald Reagan. The leader of Libya was Muammar Gaddafi who was very anti-Israel and American, he had the blood on his hands of Americans, Israelis and others. He had terrorist organizations affiliated with him in Palestine and Syria, he was on his way to have nuclear weapons and he occupied the country of Chad which was very rich in uranium.

Wow this seems way too familiar to me almost if we were talking about Iran! Here is the “kicker”: Reagan did not seek or ever obtain Congressional approval and Reagan was labeled a hero for making that region and some said the world a safer place! Therefore, again, proving that because it is Trump it must be wrong.

So yet again I ask why the double standards for Trump, and yet again I will answer, it is because of the jealousy of the Democrats not being able to accomplish what a business man is doing and not understanding that doing what you say you are going to do and not lie to the American people speaks volumes!

No common sense

Dear Editor,

I believe Americans are tired of the games the socialist-Dems continue to play with the people of this country.

It’s time they display some common sense, quit spewing hatred and disrespect for law and order, and put their marbles away before they lose them completely.
