A national nightmare

Dear Editor,

When does a political dream turn into a political nightmare? It happens when a slight electorate majority returns a convicted felon for a second term to the Oval Office 100 days and counting.

Newspapers, social media and television networks are saturated with pros and cons about the current performance of the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches of our federal government, especially the President.

There is nothing abhorrent about diversity, and efficiency within government agencies, however, when it negatively affects the well being of our people most arguments are not valid. Nor should they be. The fact remains that neither institution truly understands the implicit value of our sacred Constitution.

They claim they do, however. Words have no validity without positive, constructive and equal justice for all of us.

Why? Because, if most elected representatives subscribed to the precepts of our Constitution we would have relative peace with one another rather than political division. Something to think about, relish and vote for!
