Dear Editor,

I want to thank the new mayor and council for not giving up on trying to get rid of that dumb roundabout. Not many of us want it for several reasons.

I think it may be worth whatever it costs to get it stopped. So please keep up the fight.

While you are at it, could you check and see if there is any way they can get rid of those, or at least some of those, “No turn on right” at those intersections? That’s another waste of time and gas.

The price of gasoline is really high and going much higher. If Dave Wortman was the mayor when this roundabout was first started, we would not be in this mess.

Also, if Donald Trump had his second term, the world would be in much better shape. There is so much turmoil everywhere. I only hope we can make it until his next election so he can make us strong again. Somehow I think he would have stopped Russia’s invasion of Ukraine before it even started. Now we are on the brink of a nuclear war.
