Fetterman’s appeal
Dear Editor,
I was very pleased to attend one of the several rallies in northwestern Pennsylvania this month to raise support for John Fetterman’s campaign for the United States Senate. Although he currently serves as lieutenant governor, Fetterman certainly doesn’t look or sound like a politician.
He seems to be completely unpretentious.
At first, it may seem that his humility would doom his aspirations, and yet ironically, it is this very down-to-earth demeanor that makes him so attractive.
His campaign is clearly not about him, but about his constituents and that is very refreshing.
Fetterman brings hope that we might be able to move beyond the politics of division and again focus on important issues that require our collective attention.
He is a brilliant, inspiring, and very uncommon common man. I am happy to support his run to be our next U.S. senator from Pennsylvania and I encourage everyone to consider casting a vote for this remarkable person.
Tom Pierotti,
Ludlow
