A silent steal

Dear Editor,

You bet the November election was stolen from President Donald Trump – but not by the voting tally. The Republican’s went after the voting tally which was a colossal mistake on their part. There are other ways to steal an election and they seemed to have missed the mark completely.

For 5¢ years, without a single break, the network news pundits did nothing but run him down to the populace. That’s from the day he came down the escalator in June 2015 to announce he was running for president till Biden took office in January 2021. The Democrats tried to impeach his presidency twice and social media censored him at every turn.

Imagine, if you can, that someone was after you for that length of time and do you think they’d be successful in tarnishing your reputation? Not only did they attack him during that period but they haven’t even stopped today which extends their attack on him out to 6¢ years.

How could anyone hold up under that level of attack but, somehow, he’s still not going away even though that’s their goal. I don’t expect that they’ll quit attacking him anytime soon. After all, he scares the daylights out of them, for fear he’ll get in again and further upset their apple cart.

Trump’s a braggart, no question, and people hate that but you can’t say he doesn’t have perseverance. He has, roughly, just under one-half the country on his side and it appears those numbers might even be growing. I think we’re all rather sick of hearing complaints about him, nonstop, so why not give it a rest and, instead, tell us how good Joe is doing. Joe even asked the news media to prop him up.

So, start propping him up, we’re dying to read how you’ll do it.

Dennis Corey,
