Seems to me that the city of Warren just wants to spend money on schemes that won’t do much for Warren proper.

Look at all those townhouses, condos or whatever. They are setting empty and a tax drain. Never paid up every year but just enough to not be tax sold. Another hotel that won’t be hardly used, like all others in and around Warren.

Now they want a $2 million-plus boat launch that won’t be hardly used by tourists. The only one that will benefit from this $2 million dollar boondoggle will be one business. Every time there has been an article in Times Observer, the canoe place is a name that comes up every time, not another business, organization or group. If the city of Warren is so much in favor of this new scheme, then have the business pay up the $500,000 for it.

Leave any county money out if this as it will not help the county any way, shape or form.
