Leadership crisis

Dear Editor,

Another debacle for this administration. Look at the chaos and mayhem in this country and now in Afghanistan; all this in just seven months!

Where is the humanitarianism in allowing illegals to enter this country and now subjecting the Afghan people to brutality and murder with the departure of troops. Americans that are in the country are in peril, as well.

One reason the troops were still in Afghanistan was their presence protected us here on the mainland. What now? President Joe Biden was quick to dismantle the border because it was a “Trump” policy. He canceled the pipeline and now wants OPEC to send more oil. What was he “thinking?”

Now he blames Trump for what is going on in the Middle East. Trump had an exit strategy that contained terms that the Taliban had to meet. Since they violated those terms that exit would not have happened; I am certain that Donald Trump would not have allowed this carnage to develop; he would have adjusted his strategy to make certain the withdrawal would not have the consequences that we have seen develop.

Since Biden canceled everything else that was “Trump,” he didn’t need to follow Trump’s timetable for a withdrawal.

It certainly shows how little he knows about governing anything, let alone a country. Donald Trump would have been in the media explaining the situation.

Biden vacationed while the American people sat and wondered what he thought. I didn’t wonder; I knew. It was another of his “America last” agenda.

We are more unsafe now that we have been in decades thanks to the ineptness of this president. Impeachment would be the best scenario for him and his vice president, who has shown her inability to handle the border situation. Leadership is nil at the top.

I recently read a sign that tells it all: “Don’t blame me. I voted for Trump.”
