Dear Editor,

In this time of threats of insurrection of our democracy, white supremacy abounding, cyber hacking, and racially motivated domestic terrorists, we need CIA director William Burns, Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman and Deputy Secretary Attorney General Lisa Monaco confirmed as soon as possible.

During this time of an international COVID pandemic and 535,000 Americans dead, we need confirmations of U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy and Secretary of Health and Human Services Xavier Becerra.

In this era of global poverty and wars of ethnic cleansing in so many nations we need USAID Administrator nominee Samantha Power confirmed.

Thankfully the confirmation of Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh took place recently and he has hit the ground running to advise the President on workplace wage and safety policies and add many needed OSHA inspectors. He has already met with groups for information sessions for hims elf.

As the hurricane season is ahead of us and wildfires may be in our future as last year I think we need confirming of Brenda Mallory Chairperson for Council on Environmental Quality and Deanne Criswell as Director, Federal Emergency Management Agency.
