‘Perilous times’ ahead

Dear Editor,

I always thought that 20/20 vision was a term of perfection. The term is used to express normal visual acuity, which is the clarity or how sharp your vision is, measured at a distance of 20 feet.

As we near the end of the year 2020, it will be remembered as far from normal as anything could be.

I will always consider it the year of COVID and Corruption. I never would have believed that a party of elected leaders in our government would go so far south that lying and cheating to reach a goal would be the norm.

Many in the media have sold out to the leftist Democrats and refuse to share the truths that determine leadership and policies. Nancy Pelosi singlehandedly has kept businesses on the brink of destruction in order to fund her frivolous follies.

As one looks at our coinage, we see “In God we trust.” Our forefathers knew what was needed, and I pray now that this is more the rule than the exception. Proverbs 3:5-6 states “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.” Now, more than ever, we need to seek God’s guidance to get through these perilous times.
