The story goes that as delegates to the Constitutional Convention were leaving one day a woman asked Benjamin Franklin, “Doctor, what have we got? A republic or a monarchy?” He replied, “A republic if you can keep it.”

The question now arises, are we finally losing the Republic that our Founding Fathers sacrificed so much for? Day after day we see the violation of our God given rights by politicians supposedly protecting us from a contagious virus. Their severe restrictions far outweigh the impact of the disease; especially when you have a 99% recovery rate for the vast majority of Americans.

Even for citizens 70 years and older it’s 94%. Equally questionable is the death rate, especially since some hospitals have been receiving government funds for falsely increasing the number of fatalities. In addition study after study confirms that cloth masks are useless in stopping the virus!

The assault on personal liberty is shocking with small businesses being shut down indefinitely and churches and synagogues being threatened with fines or imprisonment for attempting to hold normal services. Lives are being destroyed on a daily basis by draconian lockdowns that have been shown to be ineffective!

In a letter to President Trump Catholic Archbishop Carlo Vigano wrote; “No one, up until last February, would have thought … that citizens would have been arrested simply for wanting to walk down the street, to breathe, to want to keep their businesses open, to want to go to church. Yet, now it’s happening all over the world. The fundamental rights of citizens…are being denied in the name of a health emergency that is revealing itself more and more fully as instrumental to the establishment of an inhuman, faceless tyranny.”

Many people are becoming aware of the “elites” of the world laboring to usher in what they refer to as the “Great Reset.” This includes the heads of the U.N., World Health Organization, World Economic Forum, Bill Gates, billionaire George Soros, and numerous politicians. Under their new “socialist order” private property and nation states are eliminated, traditions and institutions “fundamentally transformed,” individual liberties sacrificed for the “collective good.”

As Christians we have been told that before the return of Jesus Christ we would see such an evil system, where one neither “buys nor sells” unless he “takes a mark.” May we wake up and recognize the “signs of the times!”
