Children must use caution in park
Dear Editor,
It was good to see the kids enjoying the Beaty playground, which opened up last week. I pray they will be safe as they have fun this summer.
However, I did see something that disturbed me. A girl about 9 or 10 was walking inside the overflow fence of the Conewango Creek on the cement. I told her to be careful because it was dangerous.
This is not the first time I have seen children trying to be brave. The fence is there for a purpose. Please parents, make sure your precious children never go inside that fence.
