Dear Editor,

The Republicans complain that the House did not do their diligence in pursuing witnesses and subpoenas during the impeachment, despite the fact that it would have drawn the process out thru mid-summer. They then proceeded to do the same thing in the Senate!

The function of the House was to perform as a “Grand Jury;” the function of the Senate was to perform as “The Trial!” Each and every Senator swore an oath, on live TV, before God and country to remain un-bias and search for the truth. They then proceeded to the podium to sign the “Oath Book!” They lied! Mitch McConnell actually stated, on live TV, that “he wasn’t un-bias.” The “Oath” meant nothing to him! Senator Toomey and others should be asked why it wasn’t important to search for the truth! At minimum he should be asked what he believes is the “truth!”
