Dear Editor,

Being just one of all people who actually vote here and in the surrounding areas of the county, I think Tom Paquette has some very valid points regarding voting issues. The cost savings alone is a big one! Constitutionality of the system and paper being the gold standard for an accurate and true vote also make a lot of sense. Maybe (the commissioners) can respond to the paper on why (they) would rather spend more money than (they) have to on something that will eventually be abandoned for a newer, shinier toy to spend on when fiscal responsibility is the way (they) are supposed to function for the county as a whole. An article from (the commissioners) explaining (their) logic and fiscal outlay is warranted. I, for one, and hopefully others would love to read it.
