Why we do it
Dear Editor,
Every once in a while someone will ask “why do you guys do funerals?”
While at the YMCA, a former student came up to me and thanked me for our participation in her grandfather’s funeral. She was crying and that brought tears to my eyes. We had a hug and she told me how much our ceremony had meant to her at the gravesite. I know it meant a lot to others also. That’s why we do what we do our ceremony for our comrades that have passed!
