Maryellen McDaniel Bonavita

Maryellen McDaniel Bonavita, 73, of Brookville died at her home on Sept. 29, 2025. She was the wife of Denny Bonavita, a Warren native. She had been the director of development for the DuBois Area School District prior to her retirement in 2015, and had also operated a healthy foods lunch outlet in Brookville. Surviving besides her husband are three children and four sisters. Funeral arrangements are private. The Furlong Funeral Home in Summerville is in charge of arrangements.

A Memorial Luncheon for Sheila M. Salerno, who passed on Monday Sept.15 2025, in the Lutheran Home at Kane, will be held on Sunday Oct. 5, 2025, at 1 pm in the Sheffield Vets Club, 1 Austin Hill Road, Sheffield PA 16347. The Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home Inc. has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.

Celebration of Life for Raymond “Zeke” Stanton. Friends will be received at Grace United Methodist Church, 501 Penna. Ave. East, Warren, PA, on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life service will be held there at 11 am with Reverend Bill Beatty, pastor, and Reverend Kevin Haley, co-officiating. Luncheon to follow. Burial to follow at Thompson Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Joan Marie Williamson, 93, of Hatfield, Pa., mother of Marie (Dan) Dahlgren of Sheffield, Pa., passed away peacefully on Thursday afternoon September 25, 2025, at the Rouse Home in Youngsville, Pa. after a brief stay. All arrangements are under the care of the Borden Funeral Home, 203 W. Main St., Sheffield.
