Shannon A. Smith Greene, 74, of Bear Lake, PA, went to the Lord on September 26, 2026 after a year long courageous battle with cancer. Born January 6, 1952 in Warren, she was the daughter of Gerald A. Smith and Delores A. Craker Smith.
Shannon is survived by her husband of 56 years, George C. Greene; 4 children, Kelly (Jim) Burns, Kevin Greene, Brian (Sarah) Greene, and Amy (Rob) Klark; 9 grandchildren, Alexandra Burns, Seth Burns, Logan Greene, Kayla Greene, Rachael Frederick, Abbey Frederick, MacKenzie Greene, Alyssa (Patrick) Duenas, and Kendra Klark; her siblings, Dwight (Laura) Smith, Marilyn (Daniel) Eggleston, Vern (Toni) Smith, Dale (late Judy) Smith, Melanie Waterman, Lois (Terry) Ewer; 18 nieces and nephew, 33 great-nieces and great-nephews, and 2 great-great nephews.
Shannon had a great love for her large family and their bi-annual gatherings (May and November). She wanted to keep her family close. She loved animals and had many cats and dogs over her life.
McKinney Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 54 West Main St., Youngsville, PA 16371 have been entrusted with the arrangements. No Services will be held at this time.
