Doyle B. Bean, 68, of Pittsfield, PA, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at UPMC Hamot Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Warren on September 25, 1957, a son to the late Clemmer and Ruth (Fiscus) Bean. Doyle worked more recently as a machinist at Inter Royal Deluxe and Betts Industries. He enjoyed hunting, farming and spending time with his grandchildren.
Doyle is survived by his loving wife, Sheila (English) Bean, who he married on December 3, 1977 at St. Joseph RC Church in Warren. He is also survived by his sons, Brian Bean and Robert Bean and his companion, Autumn Moe, both of Pittsfield, his grandchildren, Byron Bean and his companion, Isis Peck, Shirley Bean and her companion, Jaydee Wilcox, Andrew, Brantley, Gracelynn and Robert Bean, 1 great-grandson, Bennett Wilcox, 3 brothers, Bruce (Toni) Bean, Jeff Bean, both of Spring Creek and John (Nancy) Bean of Pittsfield, 3 sisters, Janet Barnes of Youngsville, Debbie (Vic) Savitz of Pittsfield and Pamela (Dan) Kennedy of Grand Valley, PA as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Doyle was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Dayle, Dallas, Alvin and Paul Bean, 3 sisters, Jackie Carlson, Clarice Conklin and Denna Gern and his in-law's, Robert & Marlene English.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5th at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main Street, Youngsville, PA 16371, from 11am-12pm at which time a memorial service will be held there with Brenda Zock, SALM of the Berea Lutheran Church, officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, 2500 W 12th St, Erie, PA 16505.
