Candy R. Jones, 75, of Warren, PA, died on Monday August 24, 2026, at the Warren Manor after an extended illness of over 2 years.
She was born on August 8, 1951, in Houston, TX, the daughter of the late Jack Francis Sweeney and Helen Everett Sweeney. Candy has resided in Warren, PA for over 20 years, and spent time in Kane, PA as well as Alvarado, TX. She was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving from 1974-1977, with the 545th MP Co. 1st Cavalry Division.
Candy worked with Tandy Leather in Fort Worth, TX, as a nurse in Grandview, TX, and for the Johnson County Sheriff's Department, as a nurse/ medical examiner assistant. She was a member of the Irvine Presbyterian Church.
Candy is survived by her loving husband, William D. Jones, of Warren, PA; her children, Misty White of Russell, PA, Magan Jones of Dallas, TX, and Brannon Marr of Alvarado, TX; grandchildren, Peyton Matson, Benny Matson, Jack White, Katherine White, Macie Threadgill, and Kylee Marr; her brother, Bobby Lee Everett and wife, Judy of Selma, TX.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son in law, Joshua White.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday September 8, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Irvine Presbyterian Church, 885 National Forge Road., Irvine, PA 16329. Burial with military honors will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell, PA. The Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home Inc. has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
