Alice D. Woodin, 83, of Corry, PA, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at St. Vincent Hospital, Erie, PA surrounded by her family.
She was born on October 13, 1942, in Corry, PA, a daughter of the late Clair Sr. and Helen (Casler) Damon.
Alice was raised and educated in Corry and graduated from Corry High School in 1960. Following her marriage, her main priority became raising and caring for her family. Later, she worked at Rouse Home in Youngsville for a short time and then started at Corry Manor in the Dietary Department for over 20 years until she retired in 2013. In addition, she was the auditor for the Bear Lake Boro for over 20 years.
She was a lifetime member of the Bear Lake Volunteer Fire Department and was the former secretary for many years. Alice was also a member of Rebekah Lodge in Bear Lake and enjoyed fishing and hunting with her husband.
In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Woody" Woodin Sr., whom she married on July 30, 1960, in Columbus, PA; son, Mark Woodin and brother, Clair Damon.
Alice is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Mike) Case of Panama, NY; two sons, Robert Woodin Jr. and David (Lynn Ann) Woodin both of Corry, PA and one brother, James Damon of Michigan.
She is also survived by many grandchildren, step grandchildren, great-grandchildren; step great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held privately by the family.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Bear Lake VFD, 315 Center St, Bear Lake, PA 16402.
