Rosemary O. Fannin, 75, of Sugar Grove, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at home.
She was born on August 27, 1950 in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Gordon and Olive Martin Waid.
She was a 1969 graduate of Frewsburg Central School and completed a two-year practical training program in Bible Studies.
Rosemary was a former member of Praise Fellowship in Russell, PA.
In earlier years, she worked as an activity aide and for several years as a home health care aide for local individuals allowing them to stay in their own home with her assistance.
She enjoyed baking, reading, and watching birds in the birdfeeders she kept filled around her yard. She watched her mom decorate cakes for many years and had continued the family tradition.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen E. Fannin; her son Matthew Fannin; two brothers Bruce Waid and Scott (Becky) Vennard; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and step-mother Gordon and Lorraine Waid; her mother and step-father Olive and Kenneth Vennard; and two brothers Paul Waid and Edward Waid.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Monday, August 31, 2026 in Fentonville Cemetery.
