John Krueger, 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Friday, July 31, in Port Charlotte FL. John was born February 10, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, to Elmer Krueger and Dorothy Maisch. He graduated from Tuley High School in 1965. John earned various trophies while traveling with the Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps out of Chicago from 1964-1969. He later earned a master's degree in accounting from Gannon University.
He worked in Warren, PA. at Valentine Disposal, and United Refinery. He worked at Cummins Inc. in Jamestown, NY. He enjoyed working in group homes with disabled people and troubled youth.
He enjoyed spending time with family, riding bicycle, and playing tennis and volleyball.
John is survived by his wife, Savina Krueger; siblings, Mike (Judy)Krueger, David (Jean)Krueger, children, Jennifer (John)Winsor, and John (Nichole) Krueger; grandchildren, Isabelle and Grant Winsor, and Abigail Krueger; and several nieces and nephews.
His unstoppable attitude and witty humor will be missed by all who knew him.
