Bryant J. Lucia, 61, of Warren and previously of Ludlow, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully of natural causes, Thursday, July 30, at his residence. He was born Aug. 17, 1964, in Kane, the son of Patricia (Walters) Lucia and the late Eugene Lucia. He is survived by his loving wife Becky James Asel Lucia, whom he married in Kane on Dec. 27, 1997, gaining a large extended family that he embraced as his own.
Bryant was a proud member of the Kane High Class of 1982 and remained good friends with many classmates throughout his life. He graduated from Erie Business Center, then later became co-owner of Lucia's Appliance in Warren. He had positions with several companies, including Haliburton, Cummins and most recently, Betts Industries. He was a member of the Kane Elks Lodge #329, the Warren Moose Lodge #109, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles #313 in Warren. He loved Pittsburgh sports, and was an avid Rusty Wallace fan. His favorite pastimes were camping and playing those "damn" scratch-off tickets. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and responding to Becky with "Yes, dear."
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Jocelyn "Jocey" (Terry "TJ") Morton of Kane; stepchildren, Tonia (Dean) Kaufman of West Conshohocken, PA, Travis (Allison) Asel, Trisha Wright, Brian Wright, and Tessa (Tom) Boschert, all of Kane; brothers, William (Sharon) Lucia of Ludlow, Robert (Cindy) Lucia of Port Charlotte, FL, and Bradley (Sandy) Lucia of Nottingham, PA; grandchildren, Ryton, Camille, Raisa, Rainee, Rosstan "Bucky", Tysin, Terin, Raegan, Trevor, several nieces and nephews, special friends Kelly and Torey Kays of Warren, and the Moose #109 Family.
He was preceded in death by his father and infant son, Anthony J. Lucia.
Longtime friend Pastor Dan Reigel will officiate a casual Celebration of Life that will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 1 PM, at the Ludlow Volunteer Fire Department with a luncheon to follow. Please wear your favorite sports attire to remember and cherish Bryant's life.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children-Erie, Glade Township Volunteer Fire Department, EmergyCare Warren, or to a charity of your choice.
