Janice M. Thorpe

She was born on June 14, 1953, in Sheffield, PA, the daughter of Charles Berarde and Martha (Dynak) Berarde.

The John and Orpha Blair Hospice Residence in Warren, PA. She was born on June 14, 1953, in Sheffield, PA, the daughter of Charles Berarde and Martha (Dynak) Berarde.

Janice was a 1971 graduate of Sheffield High School. Her working career started at the Blair Corporation in Warren, PA. where she worked for many years. She then was employed by the Warren County School District working in the Food Service Department at Sheffield Area Schools.

Janice loved spending time in the Outer Banks. She thoroughly enjoyed watching the horse races.

She would relax by watching a challenging game of Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, especially Christmas Eve, which was a special time for all her family to get together.

Janice will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered. Left behind to cherish Janice’s memory are her loving husband, Richard Thorpe, of Tiona, her son, Jason Thorpe, of Randolph, NY.

Janice is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Ellen Cummings of Warren, PA and Candy Branstrom (husband Lynn) of Russell, PA.
