Dennis Martin

Dennis David Martin, age 58, of Sevierville Tennessee (formerly Warren/Youngsville PA) passed away on 7 May, 2026 At the Park West Medical Center in Knoxville Tennessee. He battled numerous heart issues for years, yet his spirit was never broken.

He was born in Jamestown New York on 13 March, 1968 and was the son of John S. Martin and Sherryn K Martin (Smith).

As a young boy, he spent his very early years in Jamestown until the family moved to Warren Pennsylvania in 1978. There he attended South Street Elementary and Beatty Junior High School. The

Family then moved to Youngsville Pennsylvania in 1982 where Dennis attended and graduated from Youngsville High School in 1986.

Later that same year, Dennis enlisted in the Army. After Basic Training and Army Ranger School, he shipped off to the sunny state of Hawaii.

Upon completion of his three year Army commitment, he moved back to Pennsylvania, where he attended Slippery Rock University, earning a degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science.

Along the way, he worked various odd jobs until he made his way to Florida in the early 1990s and became a full time Personal Trainer. In 2010.

Dennis went back to school earning a diploma in Physical Therapy. Then in 2016 he moved to Sevierville Tennessee where he accepted a position at Sevierville Health and Rehab Center and also met the love of his life, Emily Boling.

Everyone who met Dennis immediately liked him. He had an infectious smile and a calm easy demeaner. He was an avid BMX (Bicycle) racer in his teenage years and graduated to Motocross (Motorcycle) racing throughout his 20’s and early 30’s.

He loved fishing and hunting and also loved all animals, especially his own two dogs and two cats.

He is survived by his fiancee Emily Boling, his Daughter Calene (Alec) King, his Father John Martin, his Brother’s Gary (Nancy) Martin and John Martin Jr, Nephew’s Kahle and Brenden Martin, along with several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

He is preceded in death by his Mother Sherryn Martin, Uncle Frank Smith and both sets of Grandparents.
