Barbara L. Heeter
Barbara L. Heeter, 89, a seventy-year resident of Saybrook Road in Sheffield, Pa, passed away in her home on Monday morning, May 25, 2026, with her loving faithful family at her side. She was born on May 4, 1937, in Bradford, PA, the daughter of the late Leroy S. Knapp and Flossie (Littlefield) Knapp. She was employed at the former Loranger Manufacturing Company in Warren, PA for many years. Barbara was married for over fifty years to Marvin L. Heeter, who preceded her in death on May 18, 2020.
Barb was protestant by faith. She was a quiet humble lady who kept to herself but was there for anyone at any time. She loved sitting on her porch, visiting with neighbors and loving her two dogs Penny and Mia. You could often find her sitting watching the birds and enjoying the quiet time. She loved ice cream and would enjoy some every evening.
Barb will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her dear neighbors, friends and especially her loving family.
Left behind to cherish Barbara’s memory are her sons, Lonny A. Heeter (Kris) of Sheffield, PA and Marvin L. Heeter, Jr. (Donna Schwartz) of Sheffield and daughter-in-law Hazel (Fiscus) Heeter of Sheffield. Her grandchildren, Mark Heeter, Larry Heeter, Jr., Crystal Heeter, Jacob Moore, Noah Heeter and Ezra Heeter. Her great grandchildren, Addison, Peyton, Braelyn, Layla, Riley, Stella, Lennyn, Baylor, and Aria. She is further survived by her faithful companions Penny and Mia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Marvin L. Heeter, a son Larry E. Heeter, a sister Kay Greenwalt and three brothers, Clyde, William, and Calvin Knapp.
There will be no public calling hours observed. Private family visitation and services were held on Friday May 29, 2026, at the Broden Funeral Home, 203 West Main Street, Sheffield, PA with Rev. Calvin Cook, presiding. Burial will take place at Warren County Memorial Park.
