Madolyn J. Elder

She was born on Dec. 17, 1933, to the late Alva and Isabelle Amsler in Kingsley Township, Forest County, PA.

Madolyn graduated from Warren Area High School in 1952. She retired from the Blair Corporation after working many years in correspondence. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church. She enjoyed crafting through the years, sewing quilts, needlepoint, and ceramics. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family.

Madolyn married her beloved late husband Jack Elder on June 20, 1953.

Madolyn is survived by her two sons, Tim Elder and his wife Laura, of Canfield, OH, and Tom Elder and his wife Cindy of Warren, PA; a granddaughter Elizabeth; her brother, Scott (Sue) Amsler, and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Madolyn was preceded in death by an infant son, Ricky Lee Elder, and her sister, Norma (Stacey) Carter.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc.,1003 Penna Ave E, Warren, PA, 16365. Friends are welcome at the First Lutheran Church on Wednesday, April 22, from 10AM-12PM, with a funeral service to follow at 12PM, The Rev. Jeffrey Ewing officiating.

Interment will take place at Warren County Memorial Park.
