Kingsley W. Culbertson

1932-2026

Kingsley W. Culbertson, age 93, of Warren, PA, passed away peacefully at the Residence at Presque Isle in Erie, PA on Monday, April 20, 2026. He was born in Warren, PA on May 30, 1932, son of the late William and Gladys Culbertson.

Kingsley was a proud veteran of the US Air Force serving during the Korean War. He first worked at Penn Furnace and Iron as a welder and boiler maker. After taking night classes in accounting at Jamestown Community College, Kingsley went to work for National Fuel Gas and worked there until the Warren office closed. He then worked for Pennsylvania American Water Co. in Warren, PA until his retirement as the Operations Manager. Kingsley was an avid wood worker and gun enthusiast. In his younger years he and his father participated in many shooting competitions. As a gifted craftsman, he made many furniture pieces for his family and built the complete kitchen in his home. He was also an avid hunter and loved his cocker spaniel, Gus.

In addition to his parents, Kingsley was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Culbertson; his son, Gary Culbertson and his wife, Paula; his sister, Karen Berardi; and his brother, Chuck Culbertson. He is survived by two children, Crissi Winans (David) and John Culbertson (Melinda); three grandchildren, Jessica Winans, Katelyn Gilmore and Claire Mattson; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
