Stacey Carter

Stacey R. Carter, 95, of Warren passed away peacefully at home with his son by his side on March 10, 2026. Stacey was born to Stacey and Irene (Plubell) Carter on Nov. 2, 1930. As a young man, Stacey joined the Pennsylvania National Guard where he served for two years until transferring into United States Air Force where he served for 28 years on the Aircraft and Missile Maintenance Teams. Upon returning home, Stacey worked for 13 years at Betts Industries.

On June 27, 1959, Stacey married the love of his life, Norma Jean Amsler. Norma preceded him in death on April 26, 1995.

Stacey was affiliated with the 7th Day Adventist Church. Stacey was an avid trap shooter and enjoyed participating in all kinds of shooting sports. He loved the outdoors and being able to hunt. Stacey was a Lifetime Member of the Pine Grove Sportsmen’s Club. He was an avid and skilled wood worker. Stacey loved his family deeply and will be truly missed.

Stacey is survived by his son, Scott K. Carter, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Stacey is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, and two siblings; Gloria Nasman and Kevin Carter.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Pennsylvania Ave E. Warren, PA. 16365. Visitation will be held Monday, March 16 from 5-7 PM. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 17 at 11 AM with Chaplain Brent Wood officiating.

Interment will take place at Gibbs Hill Cemetery.
