Quay T. Strandburg

Quay graduated from Warren Area High School in 1957. He then went to proudly serve his country in the United States Marine Corps. When he was 50, he finished the US Marine Corps Marathon.

Quay was a member of Grace United Methodist Church; he was a faithful Christian.

Quay enjoyed riding his bicycle, birding, and fly fishing. He would attend an annual Christmas bird count with Bill Hill & Chase Putnam. His good cycling buddy was Tom Snow

Quay is survived by his children, Thomas (Kathy) Strandburg of Mt. Lebanon, PA, Edward (Donna) Strandburg of Grove City, PA, David (Amanda) Strandburg of Howard, PA, Cheryl (Allan) Brooks of Chippewa Twp, PA, and Marcie Strandburg of Chippewa Twp, PA; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Quay was preceded in death by his siblings, Chuck and Denny Strandburg, Connie Sovich, Sue Ellen Nazario, Betty Lou Duckett, and twin sister, Pheobe Kay Marinoble.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penna Ave E, Warren, PA, 16365. Visitation for Quay will take place at the funeral home on Sunday, March 15, from 5-7 PM. The funeral service will be on Monday, March 16, at 11 AM, with his son,

Rev. Thomas Strandburg, and son-in-law, Rev. Allan Brooks, officiating.
