Gloria Ann Roell

Gloria Ann Roell

Gloria Ann Roell, 76, of Sheffield, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose life centered around caring for the people she loved most.

Gloria was known by many for her talent and creativity as a cosmetologist, proudly running her own hair salon and building relationships with the many people who sat in her chair over the years. She was also a gifted seamstress and generously used her skills to sew for the school marching band when her children were growing up. While she had many accomplishments throughout her life, Gloria considered her greatest achievement to be raising her children and being a stay-at-home mother. She was truly the glue that held her family together.

Family was the center of Gloria’s world. She loved watching her granddaughters play sports and spending time playing Xbox with her grandson. One of her greatest joys was FaceTiming with her great-grandson and staying connected through phone calls with her children and her sister. Gloria cherished family gatherings, decorating her home for Christmas, and making memories with those she loved.

In her younger years, Gloria enjoyed bowling and attending car shows. She also spent time playing cards at the senior center and could often be found cheering on her favorite football and basketball teams. She enjoyed working alongside Mary Anne at Present and Poses. No matter what she was doing, Gloria’s warmth, laughter, and caring heart made everyone around her feel at home.

Gloria is survived by her loving husband, Fred Roell; her children, Angel Neall( husband John) , Wayne Roell (wife Jennifer), and Hillary Silves (husband Jason); her grandchildren, Mary Sells (husband Joe Sells), John Neall, Madeline Roell, Cali Silves, Emma Roell, Kelsi Silves, and Abby Roell; her great-grandson, Gunner Sells ; and Her Four-Legged companion , Ellie . She is also survived by her sister, Joyce Olson; a sister-in-law, Sherry McMillen and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell and Mary McMillen, and her brothers, Robert “Bob” McMillen, Billy McMillen and James “Jim” McMillen.

Gloria will always be remembered as the most loving and caring woman, especially when it came to her family. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love will live on in the many lives she touched. She leaves behind a legacy of devotion, laughter, and family that will never be forgotten.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the Borden Funeral Home in Sheffield, PA. No formal service was held. Burial was private.
