Allene F. (Johnson) Benedict, 86, of Tidioute, PA, passed away peacefully on March 18th, 2026 at the Orpha Blair Hospice House in Warren, PA, surrounded by the love of her family after a brief illness.
Allene was born on Dec. 2, 1939, at her family’s farmhouse on Sutton Hill in Pittsfield, PA, to Roy H. Johnson and Dorothy V. (Webb) Johnson. She lived a life rooted in love, resilience, and quiet strength. To those who knew her best, Allene was a sweet and steady presence, someone her family could always count on. Her gentle nature, unwavering dedication, and strong work ethic shaped the lives of those around her in lasting ways.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Richard L. Johnson; her sister, Betty Jane May; her son-in-law, Daniel McLaughlin; and her beloved great-grandson, Jerome Edward Bucktooth Jr.
Allene is survived by her loving children: Debbie Lou Jackson of Salamanca, NY; Buddy Dean Jackson Jr. of Warren, PA; Randall Scott Johnson (Patti) of Long Island, NY; Pamela Sue McLaughlin of Tidioute, PA; Tammy Lynn (Nick) Brunecz of Busti, NY; and Terrance Allen Jackson of Gerry, NY. She also leaves behind a beautiful legacy in her cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, along with one niece and seven nephews, all of whom brought her immense pride and joy.
Allene found her greatest happiness in the simple, meaningful moments, time spent surrounded by family, sharing laughter, tending to her flowers and garden, and dancing whenever she had the chance. Her love was constant, her presence comforting, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main St, Youngsville, PA 16371, on Saturday, March 28th from 11am-1pm at which time a memorial service will be held there.
