William Wilson
William “Bill” Wilson of Scandia, PA, passed away on Feb. 10, 2026, at St. Vincent hospital in Erie, PA. He was born in Warren, PA, on Jan. 8, 1950, to William C. Wilson and Virginia (Krause) Wilson.
He graduated from Warren Area High School in 1968. He was also a graduate of Paul Smiths College in the Adirondacks where he majored in Forestry. After graduation he worked at Warren Dental Arts for a short time. When his father retired, he became the owner/operator of Warren Glass and Parts. Bill retired in 2005. In his retirement he enjoyed playing golf indoors and outdoors. He was a member of Blueberry Hill Golf Club. As a member of the Kalbfus Rod and Gun Club he enjoyed shotgun sports, especially sporting clays. He and his wife Susan also traveled a great deal.
Bill was involved for many years with youth programs. He was the Scout Master for BSA Troop 9 from 1971 until 2021. In addition to being a Scout Master, he was a member of the Chief Cornplanter Council Board. He was very involved with Camp Olmstead. In addition to scouting, he was active with the Warren County youth trap shooting league. He touched the lives of many area youths.
Throughout his entire life, he was a true outdoors man. He loved to hunt, fish, camp, hike, and other outdoor activities. His family shared many of his adventures.
He is survived by his wife, Susan (Jarzynka) who he married in 1982; His son and best friend, Kyle (Kaitlyn) and grandsons, Gavin and Logan; His sister, Susan (Michael) Zaprowski of Salamanca, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was presided in death by infant twin sons.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penna. Ave E, Warren, PA, 16365. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, Feb. 18, from 3-6 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Feb. 19, at 11 AM, with Rev. Jeff Ewing officiating.
