Mary Louise Lopez, 97, of North Warren, PA, died calmly on Tuesday Feb. 17, 2026, in the John and Orpha Blair Hospice House, after an extended Illness.
She was born on Aug. 22, 1928, in Warren, PA, the youngest daughter of the late Elmer and Frances Gutzler Hagerman. Mary, a 1947 graduate of the Warren Area High School, married David E. Lopez of Warren the following year, and they enjoyed 70 years together before he passed on June 15, 2018.
She was employed with the former Levinson’s Brothers as a clerk/buyer, retiring in 1991. Mary also worked with the New Process Company and was a member of the Gray Ladies at Warren General Hospital for 40 years. A lifelong devotee of looking on the brightside, Mary enjoyed Dancing, Boating, Knitting, Reading,
Playing Cards, and doing Word Searches, as well as watching Football, Baseball, and Game Shows. She was an excellent listener, loved to entertain, and was happiest when surrounded by food, family, and friends. She and Dave traveled extensively.
Mary is survived by her two loving children, Rebecca Brown and husband Randall of Youngsville, PA and David E. Lopez Jr. and wife Judy of Apex, NC, 5 Grandchildren; Damian, Brandon, Kip, Cassie, and Travis. 9 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents, and husband, Mary was preceded in death by her siblings, John, Clarence, Arthur, and Paul, and Marcella Cole, and Jane Darr.
The viewing will be from 10am to 11am Saturday at St. Joseph RC Church, 600 Pennsylvania Ave West, in Warren, PA 16365. A Mass, officiated by Fr. Richard Tomasone, will follow at 11 AM for those who wish to attend. There will be a lunch provided at Meyer Hall adjacent to the church at Noon.
