- Marshall Feldman
After graduating from Warren Area High School, Marshall served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1964. Following honorable discharge from the Army, he moved to New York City and then Maryland to pursue work in insurance and retail, respectively. Ultimately, Marshall’s career took him to Newport News.
Entrepreneurial by nature, he owned and operated several small businesses. Most recently, Marshall founded and served as president of Best Collection Agency for over 40 years. Driven by a sense of decency, he always showed kindness and grace to debtors, enabling them to pay their creditors with dignity.
As a proud Army veteran, Marshall was a member of Denbigh American Legion Post 368 where he was a tireless volunteer for many years. Marshall also helped the community by providing volunteer phone support for the CONTACT crisis line on the Peninsula where he counseled callers who were struggling with emotional distress.
Marshall was the son of an immigrant, and proud of his Russian-Jewish heritage. He was a board member of Gaithersburg Hebrew Congregation in Maryland and enjoyed the cultural traditions and fellowship.

Devoted father of Valerie Frank (Rob) and Dena Feldman, supportive sibling of Judy Stern (Rob) and Bob Feldman (Linda Nevaldine), proud uncle of Jess Collins (Nate), and loyal friend to many, Marshall will be greatly missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
