Elizabeth A. Van Ord

Elizabeth A. “Betty Ann” Van Ord, 83, of Russell, PA, passed away on Monday, Feb. 16, 2026, in her home.

She was born in Starbrick, PA, the daughter of the late Levi and Helen Huckabone. She was a 1960, graduate of Warren Area High School. Betty Ann was a long-time employee of the National Forge of Irvine, PA. She was a great baker known for her pies and cookies. She loved to travel to yard sales and auctions, enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, and her loving dogs. She was the number one fan for her children and grandchildren; she always encouraged them to be their best. Betty Ann also volunteered for years for the local Warren County 4-H.

On June 11, 1960, at the Lander United Methodist Church she married Howard W. “Ox Man” Van Ord, and they spent 58 loving years together before he passed on Oct. 20, 2018.

Betty Ann is survived by her 4 children, Jessica Van Ord of Cambodia, Dana Kozlowski of Randolph, NY, Connie Todryk and husband, Mike of Minnesota, and Andy Van Ord and wife, Kathy of Russell, PA; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, and her loving husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Van Ord; and siblings, Denny and Dave Huckabone.

Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
