Richard L. Brown, 78, of Grand Valley, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025 at his residence.
Dick was born Jan. 20, 1947, in Warren, to the late William and Norene (Konkle) Brown. He graduated from Tidioute High School in 1964 and he and his friend, Tom Miller, joined the United States Navy on a “buddy plan” directly after, serving during the Vietnam War from 1965-1967. He worked at the National Forge for many years. Many friends and family referred to him as “Doppler Dick” because he would always predict the weather when asked. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing golf and spending time at hunting camp. If ever asked if he went hunting and shot a deer, he always said ” No, just gotta clean my gun”.
