Roxy J. Zock

Roxy J. Zock, 81, of Youngsville, PA passed away on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025 at LECOM Medical Center in Erie.

She was born on July 1, 1944 in Warren, PA, a daughter to the late Frederick Andersen and Gladys (Winger) Blum.

She is survived by her children, Kerry (Tim) Sveda of Youngsville and Tim John Zock of Salisbury, NC, her grandchildren, Lacey Sveda and Michael (Kara) Sveda, her great-grandchildren, Jayden, Ryan and Delilah, her sisters, Shirley Kiser of Youngsville and Barbara Provenzano of Houston, PA, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Roxy was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald F. Zock and her grandson, Jonathan Sveda.

Roxy will be remembered most for being endlessly devoted to her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, homemaker, mother and grandmother not only to her own family but to many others. She was a “mom” to many. Giving generously, unconditional love to every neighborhood child and every friend of her children that was lucky enough to have met her.

In addition, Roxy worked alongside her husband at their family owned business. Outside of her family, Roxy worked as a waitress for most of her life at many local restaurants such as Wayside, Richards and State Diner. She loved playing bingo and going to the casinos. She was a huge fan of the Oakland Raiders, Carolina Panthers and Pittsburgh Steelers. She also enjoyed watching and going to NASCAR races with her sister.

Roxy was thoughtful, loving, and kind and will be truly missed by all that knew her. She will continue to be loved “as far as a bird can fly” and “to the last number”.

Per Roxy’s request, there will be no visitation and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to Warren Cancer Care Center, 105 Lee Street, Warren, PA 16365.

The Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, in Youngsville, has been entrusted with all arrangements. Condolences to the family may be made at nelsonfuneralhome.net.
