Linda R. Anderson

1946-2025

Linda R. Anderson of Warren, PA, died peacefully Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 9, 2025, at her residence, with her family at her bedside. Linda was born Dec. 1, 1946, in Warren, PA. She was the daughter of Frederick L. and M. Bertha Gomez Retterer. Linda was a 1964 graduate of WAHS. She resided in Warren, PA, with a short period of time in West Palm Beach, FL. She was employed at Dorcon, Crossett and Osram Sylvania.

Her greatest joy in life came from being a mother and grandmother; her family truly was her world. She is fondly remembered as a feisty, fun-loving woman who embraced life with enthusiasm. She loved crocheting, days at the beach, and driving her beloved Pontiac Bonneville. Her cats held a special place in her heart. She also had a passion for classic rock, especially the music of REO Speedwagon, Dan Fogelberg, and Jimmy Buffett.

She is survived by her daughters Jodi Cully (Bart) of Pittsburgh, PA, and Kerri Burge (Richard) of Russell, PA; Siblings, Fred L. Retterer (Eileen) of Vienna, OH, James Retterer (Robbie) of Phoenix, AZ, Allen Retterer (Cindy) of Warren, PA, and Diane Estevez of Springhill, FL; Granddaughters Keyah Marshall (Jacob) and Madison Guthrie; and Great Granddaughter Avery; along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Veronica Snow and Mary Ross.

The family gratefully acknowledges the compassionate support Linda received during her illness from her home care workers, who treated her with such kindness.

A private celebration of Linda’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.
