Janet M. Perryman

Janet May (McGuire) Perryman, age 88, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday Dec. 18 2025, at the home of her son and daughters-in-law with whom she resided. Janet was a lifelong resident of Warren.

Janet was the daughter of the late D.L. (Mick) McGuire and Elenore Sarah (Greer) McGuire, born on July 1, 1937. She graduated from Warren Area High School class of 1955. Janet was married to Melvin (Sonny) Perryman who passed on May 14th 2018. She had worked Warren Components and Int- Electric.

She left the work force to take on what she felt was the best job of all, raising her 4 children.

Janet loved to cook and bake; she passed on that love to all of her children, (Kevin is not a baker though).

She had a garden for many years and in the fall could be found canning what she had grown. She was an avid reader of any kind of books. Janet loved spending time with her family and friends. One of her favorite places, was sitting on her back porch watching the birds, especially the Humming birds. Janet was a member of the Covenant Methodist Church, past member for the Eastern Star and Order of the Amaranth.

Her beautiful life will be cherished by her family: Kelly (Perry) O’Neill, Kerry Anne (Will) Pearson Kevin H. (Marcy) Perryman all of Warren PA, Kylene May (Ross) Lewis South Carolina. Three Grandchildren, Patrick E O’Neill of VA. Jami M. (Tony) King of OH and Mikki M. (Neil) Eder of SC.

Great Grandsons, Kalen and Karson King and Jameson Eder with another great-grandson due in April.

Brother-in-Law Robert Gene Robbilard Warren, Sister-in-Law Doris McGuire of TX, step-sister Jackie Benson of NY and several nieces and nephew. She will be missed by all.

In addition to her parents and husband, Janet was preceded in death by sisters Mildred (Mickey) McGuire, and Jackie Robillard, brothers Jim, Bob, Richard, and Hugh McGuire, step-mother Jane McGuire and step-sister Linda Krespan.

We would like to thank the wonderful people of Hospice for all of their support.

Per Janets wishes there will be no public service. There will be a celebration of Janet’s life later.
