Carol L. Ostergard

Carol Lee (Morrison) Ostergard, 83, passed away peacefully at the John & Orpha Blair Hospice House on Nov. 29, 2025. Carol was born to George F. Morrison and Edna L. (Dunham) Morrison on June 6, 1942, in Warren. Carol graduated from Warren Area High School in 1960. She obtained her LPN license from the Warren County LPN program and worked for Warren General Hospital for 4 years. She later received her RN degree from Jamestown Community College and worked for Warren Manor for 24 years, retiring in 2008.

Carol was a member of Grace United Methodist Church where she participated in yarn angels, taught Sunday school and volunteered in various capacities. She also enjoyed going on the Red Bird Mission trips once taking her grandson, Lucas. Carol was devoted to her family and would never miss a chance to see them. They loved spending time with her and treasured the memories they made. She will be dearly missed.

Carol is survived by her daughters, Kristin (Randy) Moore of Sugar Grove and Kerry (Joe) Pangborn of Ligonier, PA. She is survived her 4 grandchildren: Jacob R. Moore, Eric C. (Isabelle) Moore, Lucas M. Moore, and Brendan J. (Sky) Garrett. She is survived by a great-grandchild, Felix, and one more on the way. Carol is survived by her sister, Barbara (Tom) Schaeffer, and her brother, George F. (Linda) Morrison Jr, as well as five nieces and nephews.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents and her dearly loved son, Dana James Ostergard.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc. 1003 Penna. Ave. E. Warren, PA 16365. Calling hours will take place from 11AM-1PM on Thursday, Dece. 4, 2025, at Youngsville Free Methodist 179 Davis St. Youngsville, PA 16371. A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Rick Hamrick, will follow calling hours at the church at 1PM.
