Barry L. Peate

He was born Jan. 12, 1954 in Buffalo, NY to the late Robert Peate and Barbara (Mechling) Fredericks who survives him. After graduation, Barry proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He worked at Warren General Hospital as the Environmental Service Director and also as a custodian at the Youngsville Elementary School for many years. He was a member of the Youngsville American Legion, and enjoyed woodworking, fishing, camping, country music and spending time with grandchildren. His children considered him their best friend and he will be deeply missed.

In addition to his mother, Barry is survived by his two children, Amanda (Jerry) Baker of Bear Lake and Eric (Heather) Peate of Stalstown, PA, his siblings, Robert (Veronica) Peate of Youngsville, Greg Peate of Irvine, Beth Daelhousen of Tidioute, Vicky Peate of Warren, his grandchildren, Maxwell, Trinity, Aspen, Elliot, Alena, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Peate and a sister, Lisa Richards.

No services will be held at this time.
